DESIGN CHALLENGE Eighth grade students participate in a Design Challenge as their last project of the year. They were given limited supplies and classtime to build a 3-dimensional structure that would stand on it’s own and include a moving part. The results are an excellent display of creativity, problem solving and teamwork!
Seventh grade students take turns applying plaster gauze strips to each others’ faces. They are inspired by the artwork of George Segal and his techniques. These sculptural pieces will become painted thematic masks.
