March is Youth Art Month and we are celebrating with an Art Contest! Winners will be chosen each Friday in March. All entries will be sent to the Students Rebuild Ocean Challenge. Students Rebuild will make a donation to ocean conservation.
Use the ocean as your inspiration to create an artwork.
Use any art materials.
Artwork must be smaller than 9” x 12” and can be 2-D or 3-D.
Ideas: drawing, painting, origami paper sculpture
Put your name, grade and homeroom teacher’s name on your artwork.
Give your entry to your art teacher by Thursday, March 28.
You may enter more than once.
Students have the opportunity to design a flag for Youth Art Month during March. Entry form with instructions is attached below. Prizes will be awarded on Fridays, March 4, 11, and 18 and Thursday, March 24.
